Contextual Islamic Studies & Leadership students visit the Faculty of Education at Cambridge University.

As part of our ongoing commitment to providing diverse and enriching learning experiences, students of our Contextual Islamic Studies & Leadership Diploma recently visited the Faculty of Education at the University of Cambridge.

Students had the opportunity to engage with Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) students, who are training to become Religious Education teachers. The meeting was an integral component of our Professional Development module, designed to explore various career pathways for religious leaders.

Our Students delved deep into discussions on pedagogical approaches to religious education, gaining insights from PGCE students who, likewise gained insights from our students about traditional forms of learning ingrained within Islamic education.

Admissions are open for this unique diploma programme, which has been designed to equip Dar al-Ulum graduates & others trained in the Islamic sciences with practical skills & real world experience that, in turn, develops their leadership skills and enhances their career prospects.
