Yaseen Stoffberg brings extensive expertise in higher education management to his role as Registrar and Head of Administration at Cambridge Muslim College, with a strong background in academic administration, process optimisation, governance, and leadership. Before joining Cambridge Muslim College, he managed large-scale operations at leading universities, focusing on enhancing service quality and digital transformation within the registry.
As Registrar, Yaseen oversees the day-to-day operations of the college, ensuring compliance, governance, efficient service delivery, and a high-quality student experience. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and brings a wealth of knowledge to the college as he works alongside the Senior Leadership Team to advance the institution’s strategic goals.
Tabetha started her career as an educator, specialising in the delivery of leadership and development programs for at-risk youth. She has since transitioned into the PR and communications industry, developing extensive, multi-disciplinary experience, inclusive of all operational aspects of media relations, campaigns, advocacy and social media management. Tabetha is especially passionate about serving and supporting British Muslim communities and has worked in varying leadership capacities for, and with, organisations such as Muslim Aid UK, the Muslim Council of Britain, GoFundMe and Ramadan Tent Project.
Mickael Chevalier is the Financial Manager at Cambridge Muslim College, where he oversees the college’s finances. With nearly 20 years of experience in finance across various industries, including 9 years in the non-profit sector, Mickael brings extensive expertise in managing financial operations.
Before joining Cambridge Muslim College, Mickael worked in the finance department at the University of Cambridge. He holds a BA in Accounting & Finance and is a certified member of ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants).
Abdullah Cattell
Abdullah, a Southampton Solent University graduate, brings 14 years of Buildings & Facilities Management expertise to Cambridge Muslim College. His vision extends beyond management; he’s devoted to crafting functional sacred spaces by integrating his facility management skills with a profound passion for traditional Islamic sciences. In tandem with his role at the college, Abdullah diligently pursues personal studies in Arabic and the traditional Islamic sciences, guided by esteemed scholars both locally and abroad.
Dr Zainab Alkhatib
Dr Zainab completed her PhD in Biochemistry in Germany before relocating to the UK. During her time in the UK, she undertook various roles, including that of a Research Associate at Cambridge University. After that, Dr Zainab dedicated her efforts to Cambridge Muslim College, where she played a vital role in overseeing the BA (Hons) Programme and its Academic Framework in collaboration with The Open University. During this period, she was an active member of the Quality Assurance and Enhancement agency, QAA, where she honed her skills in the realm of Quality Assurance which led her to start a new chapter as the Quality Assurance Manager in the College.
Javeria Hamid
Javeria began her career in the Civil Service, notably at the Home Office and then on secondment to The Foreign & Commonwealth Office, where she set up the UK Visas Public Enquiry Unit. With a decade of experience in mainstream education and a CELTA teaching qualification, Javeria takes on the crucial roles of managing admissions for all our programmes and overseeing student development and experience.
Outside of work, Javeria runs the Cambridge team for ‘The Date Project,’ an international initiative dedicated to fundraising for orphans and disaster-stricken Muslim countries.

Sohayb Megraoui
Sohayb works within the Communications Department implementing comprehensive communication strategies with the aim of heightening the College’s online presence. With a diverse background, he brings a wealth of experience in digital media, broadcast, and the NGO sector.
Nabila Winter
Nabila Winter’s role involves providing support and pastoral care to the students on the Diploma and BA programmes. She has a degree in Arabic from the School of Oriental & African Studies, University of London, and has spent many years in voluntary and youth work.
