Reports to: Student Services Senior Officer
Salary range: £26,375 – £29,357 per annum (depending on experience)
Location: Cambridge (office-based role) with some UK travel
Contract: Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)

The Student Services and Events Coordinator will play a central role in supporting the Student Services department in promoting the College, BA and Diploma programmes to different audiences including schools and Further Education institutions, through coordinating the admissions process from application to final outcome. The post holder will work closely with the Registry staff in the first-round processing of applications for programmes and support with events in the college throughout the academic year. This role will also involve working with the Communications and Development team in organising the roll-out of admissions process to relevant organisations and social media platforms. They will also work with the Student Services Senior Officer and Facilities team to manage the accommodation services for the college.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in an administrative role preferably within education. The candidate must have administration and IT skills and be comfortable using online systems. The individual will work methodically, efficiently and be well organised. They must be able to work with minimum supervision and build good working relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent writing skills and a good knowledge of social media platforms. They will be confident in communicating to different audiences and be willing to assist their line manager or other colleagues travel around the UK to promote the College’s programmes. They will also be expected to work flexibly to support other College activities, which may include working some weekends and evenings to facilitate events.
