Cambridge Muslim College’s Chief Executive, Professor Joel Hayward Delivers a two-day masterclass in London
Professor Joel Hayward, a well-respected scholar of the Sirah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, gave a two-day masterclass in London on 27 and 28 January, teaching eight classes on aspects of the Prophet’s ﷺ leadership.
In an advanced study weekend title “Sirah, Leadership and Strategic Thought”, Professor Hayward taught around fifty people in person at Birkbeck College, University of London, and Al-Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre, as well as many people online from as far afield as Pakistan, Canada and Australia. Focusing mainly on issues drawn from his two most recent books, Professor Hayward explained how the Holy Prophet ﷺ created and shared his bold strategic vision for a better and necessary future, persuaded increasing numbers of people that this was the right thing to do, and led them masterfully through danger and difficulties as they sequentially turned that vision into a wonderful reality.
