The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the College’s day-to-day HR function and will work closely with the Chief Executive and senior leadership team to develop, maintain and deliver robust and compliant HR policies and procedures.  The postholder will provide expertise and advice on a range of HR and employee-related issues and ensure the College is fully compliant with UK employment legislation.  

The postholder will embed a culture of excellence in the recruitment and selection, induction, management and development of the College’s staff and in managing general employment law issues. This will be done through regular monitoring, reviewing and updating of HR policies and procedures as necessary and ensuring that the systems that support the HR function are fit-for-purpose.  

The postholder will support the Chief Executive and senior leadership team to manage a range of employee matters by leading on the development and implementation of new staff induction and continued professional development programmes, performance review and appraisal processes, and disciplinary and grievance processes.
