Eid is a time for joy and celebration!  Join us for a fun-filled day, with workshops for adults, children’s activities, lunch and dessert, an outdoor performance, and a special address by Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad.

Adult Workshops

Improve your mobile photography & videography skills with tips and techniques to help you unlock the power of your smart phone.

Dr Abdallah Rothman introduces basic concepts and practical exercises that we can employ in our daily lives to foster wellbeing in a way that is integrated with our faith.

Chai making for us is an art. Learn how to make it and the historical and cultural events are part in the formation of this popular drink.

An introduction to the basics of drumming with Sakina L from the Pearls of Islam Drumming School.

Family Activities

Enjoy the opportunity to explore the College whilst completing our bespoke treasure hunt and have the chance to win a prize! (suitable for 5-12 year olds)

A melodius session of remembrance, where we will sing a number of iconic Arabic and English nasheeds and reflect upon their meanings. (Women and children below 12 only)

Hear a traditional story and try out different ways of re-telling it in this interactive workshop with Jumana Moon from the hud hud storytelling school. (suitable for 8-12 year olds)

A hands-on workshop where children will paint and create geometric pictures to form a larger tessellating geometric pattern with Mahrukh Bashir(suitable for 5-11 year olds)

Please note, you can only purchase 2 of each ticket.

Families with more than two children should purchase a family ticket (2 children and 2 adults) and an individual child ticket for other children.

The workshops will be running in concurrently from 12-1pm. You will only be able to attend one workshop.

Yes. Children all ages are welcome. Children 5-12 years old must have a ticket to attend.

Children 0-4 years old have free entry. We are unable to cater for activities and food for children 0-4 years old.

A parent must accompany children 0-7 years during each session.

Unfortunately not. Tickets are for all the activities. 

These strictly ticketed events will be held on the College grounds. We recommend wearing masks inside the main building.

This is a ticketed event. You must hold a ticket to attend. Please join the waiting list to be notified if any tickets become available. 

We cannot accomodate walk-ins.

No, unfortunately we will not be recording or live-streaming the event.

  • Cambridge Muslim College provides a seven (7) day cooling off period following registration payment (for programmes taking place at the College) during which time you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund of programme fees paid.
  • After seven (7) days and up until five (5) days before the start of the programme, registrants are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Cancellations/withdrawals with less than five (5) days remaining until a programme starts are not eligible for a refund.
  • Please allow for 10 business days for refund processing.
  • A full refund is available if we cancel the event.
  • Email us at courses@cambridgemuslimcollege.ac.uk if you wish to obtain a refund.

Parking is available and free on St Paul’s Road on Sundays. We recommend arriving early to get a place. Alternatively, parking is available at Queen Anne Terrace car park.
