The blessed month of Ramadan is now upon us, and we at Cambridge Muslim College would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones Ramadan Mubarak.

Let us make dua to start Ramadan right: Allahumma adkhilhu ‘alayna bil-amni wal-iman wassalamati wal-Islam wa-jiwarin min al-shaytan wa-ridwanin min al-Rahman. O Allah, enter this month upon us with security and faith, safety and Islam, protection from Shaytan, and pleasure and acceptance from the Most Merciful.

Ramadan is a time for self-reflection and increasing our Taqwah – our piety, God consciousness. This most blessed of months is a uniquely opportune time to pursue nearness to our Creator, through fasting and prayer and serving our brothers and sister in humanity through charity, good thoughts and deeds.

We are especially keen to serve Muslim communities across the UK and beyond during this blessed time by providing engaging and insightful educational programmes. In this vein, our Ramadan campaign this year has been dedicated to helping us build Taqwa, navigating contemporary challenges in order to do so. Do be sure to join us for our Ramadan lectures and Ramadan Moments series online. May it be of benefit to one and all, serve to bring us closer to Allah SWT,  insha’Allah.
