Cambridge Muslim College & Divinity Faculty
Islamic Studies Reading Group
The Islamic Studies Reading Group shall meet approximately once a month and is OPEN TO ALL. Its purpose is to create a stimulating and convivial space and to encourage reading and critical conversation on a selection of late and significant publications in the field of Islamic studies and in relation with the traditional Islamic sciences.
The times and venues for the term, as well as the books being discussed, are indicated below. If you would like to participate, do fill in the form to receive updates and access to the reading material. Book chapters shall be specifically assigned for each meeting and shared in advance. It is highly recommended to read the chapter(s) so that fruitful conversations may ensue.
In addition to our Islamic Studies Reading Group, please visit our webpages Research Seminar Series and Islamic Literature Reading Group for more research and community outreach activities.
