Cambridge Muslim College was delighted to host the graduation ceremony for this year’s Diploma in Islamic Psychology. Graduates, along with their families, friends and guests, gathered in our gardens for an afternoon of joy, reflection and shared memories.
The programme’s lead, Dr Abdallah Rothman, delivered a heartfelt address, reflecting on the journey of study and practice that brought the students to this special moment. We were also honoured with a moving speech and du’a from Dr Mazen Atassi, during which the entire gathering joined in a moment of collective silence and prayer.
The ceremony was filled with creativity and gratitude: graduates shared thoughtful presentations, gifts of artwork were presented to Dr Rothman in appreciation, and Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad joined virtually while travelling abroad to extend his blessings to the cohort.
After the formal proceedings, the community enjoyed food together, took photos and selfies, and reminisced about the memories forged throughout the programme.
We congratulate all our graduates on this remarkable achievement and pray their knowledge and skills will be of service to their communities.
