On Wednesday, 31st July, Cambridge Muslim College celebrated the graduation of its 2023/2024 Diploma in Islamic Psychology cohort, marking the culmination of a rigorous and enriching year-long journey exploring the depths of Islamic and modern psychological paradigms.

A poignant recitation of the Quran set a reflective tone for the event, followed by beautiful poem performances by several students, highlighting the integration of art and spirituality in their studies.

Esteemed academic staff and distinguished guests graced the milestone event. Programme Director Dr. Abdallah Rothman, alongside Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, applauded the graduates for their dedication and active participation in the programme.

Over the course of the year, the programme’s structure, consisting of three comprehensive terms, equipped students with the knowledge to articulate classical Islamic psychological frameworks, critically engage with modern psychological theories, and develop practical counselling skills grounded in the Prophetic model.

The evening concluded with a delightful gathering, where students, academic staff, and guests, including friends and family, shared
laughter and joy.

Cambridge Muslim College looks forward to seeing the new graduates apply their knowledge in diverse professional contexts, guided by a profound sense of ethical responsibility and spiritual insight.
