Our CMC Photography Competition this Ramadan brought a strong wave of creativity from across the College, as students – and even a number of staff – responded to our theme “First Light.”|
Ramadan is a time of reorientation. A return to what is essential. This Ramadan’s theme invited participants to reflect on light not simply as a visual element, but as a sign of hope, guidance, and divine presence. The response was thoughtful, mature, and beautifully observed.
From early morning horizons to fleeting moments of نور in everyday spaces, submissions explored the interplay between light, stillness, and meaning. We are thoroughly delighted to witness the CMC creative community as it continues to grow.
A sincere thank you to everyone who took part.
