Why are we Building an Ark?
Our vision is a world where the sacred Islamic tradition is seen as a viable pathway for addressing the challenges of the modern world.
We have faced many trials over the last couple of years. Our mind, bodies, and souls are tired and weary. Many of us feel disconnected and unmoored, from ourselves, families, friends, and communities.
This year we learn from the story of Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) that it is possible to reorient ourselves to face the winds of change, together. By “Building an Ark”, we plan to embark on a spiritual journey that recalls the values of patience, obedience and trust in Allah to provide protection, comfort and hope for our community to emerge into a new dawn – a new normal.
Our Journey begins with our England Cities Tour, after which we commence our Ramadan Virtual Programme, before, insha Allah, inviting you to our special Eid Garden Party. Join us as we renew our understanding of Allah’s control over all things and our religious imperative to trust and act in submission to His call.
