Cambridge Muslim College was honoured to host the graduation ceremony for its BA (Hons) Degree Class of 2025. The event gathered students, faculty, family, and friends in a spirit of gratitude and reflection, marking the culmination of three years of study and shared learning.
Hosted at the prestigious Cambridge Central Mosque hall, The programme opened with a Qur’anic recitation by Imam Nurullah, setting a tone of reverence and blessing. Welcoming remarks from Registrar Yaseen Stoffberg acknowledged the dedication of students and the community of support surrounding them.
This was followed with a guest address by Cambridge Muslim College Trustee, Dr Lejla Demiri, imparting words of inspiration and anecdote.
Touching student reflections from Zuhair – who presented Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad with a gift on behalf of the students – and A’iyshah spoke powerfully to the challenges and growth of their cohort, while Dr Sohail Hanif expressed support and encouragement on behalf of the College’s sponsors.
Faculty reflections were shared by Dr Ramon Harvey, followed by the Cambridge Muslim College Founder & Dean’s address from Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, who also presented the Best Dissertation Award and presided over the gifting of awards with Dr Harvey. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt supplication and closing words of prayer, before graduates and guests gathered for group photographs and refreshments.
The College extends its warmest congratulations to all graduates of the BA (Hons) Degree Class of 2025, who now join the growing community of CMC alumni. We pray that their learning continues to bear fruit in service to our communities and the wider world.
